What you’ll do
For the further development of Volvo Cars omnichannel sales experience we will strengthen the product management team with a Product Manager, leading one of our digital product teams working with enabling a seamless digital sales experience at our retailers, Volvo studios and eye-catching pop-up studio. This is one of the key product teams in our journey into integrated online/offline direct consumer experience, where our retailers will play a fundamental part in showcasing our products and offers, and then ultimately guide the customer to do their purchase online. 
 
You will be part of a team of engineers, UX specialists, analysts, and scrum masters. You will develop product strategy and define product roadmap based on an integrated understanding of customer behavior, business direction, anticipated market trends and the possibilities of technology. You will communicate strategy and roadmap to stakeholders and your product team, getting input and buy-in. 
 
You will develop the long-term product vision, tactical product release strategy, and drive execution of product releases – working closely and collaboratively with other key functions within Volvo Cars like marketing, brand and offer teams, in addition to our technology organization.
 
You and your skills
You are a customer-obsessed leader for your consumer-facing digital product, and accountable for its success. You have a passion for the customer and creating user experiences that are best-in-class, using a data-driven approach. You solve problems going from the customer to how the technology works; and have an ability to quickly translate customer opportunity or need into product and technology dependencies. We see that you value designing user-centric experiences with deep empathy for the customer, specific to true consumer needs based on consumer insights and data. We also believe that you have an entrepreneurial mindset, motivated by commercial success.
 

  • 5+ years experience in product management for consumer digital products and services, preferably within digital technology retail stores, exhibit design, and the automotive industry
  • Proven history of converting learnings from customer insights into tangible products and services that customers love
  • Entrepreneurial instincts and track record of leading new initiatives
  • Experience with agile/scrum methodologies and associated tools preferred
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or MBA, or equivalent in experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communications across technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferably HQ Gothenburg or Stockholm
