Responsibilities

Tesla’s Cell Materials Engineering group is looking for a highly
motivated individual to be the Facility Training Specialist for a novel battery
chemical plant under construction near Corpus Christi, TX.   You, as the
Training Specialist, will work closely with the EHS, Process Design,
Commissioning/Startup, Operations, and Maintenance teams to develop and deliver
an effective training curriculum aligned with the organization ramp and project
schedules.

Requirements

·        
7+ years in a chemical manufacturing environment, with strong
operations and production experience

·        
Technically proficient in chemical plant unit operations.  Experience with solids handling, rotary
calcination and hydro-metallurgical equipment is a plus.

• Excellent
  written and verbal communication & presentation skills
• Strong
  proficiency in the application of Life Critical Policies in chemical
  manufacturing environments.
• Passion
  and aptitude for engaging learners and delivering effective training.
• Willingness
  to get your hands dirty as needed to complete objectives and lead through
  challenging projects.
• Ability
  to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with
  extremely tight timelines and aggressive goals.
• Have
  an inquisitive and open attitude to exploring new ideas and drive to
  continuously learn.
