    Software Systems Integration Engineers on our Low Voltage Systems team, work side by side with various cross-functional teams to lead the design and development of low voltage power systems, body controls systems or authentication systems. This role utilizes electrical/mechanical hardware, embedded software, data analysis and system design fundamentals to support new product design, define vehicle behaviors, bring-up prototypes, and system validation. These engineers are leading new technology development for the next generations of Tesla vehicles and are responsible for overall functionality and performance of a sub-system of low voltage systems throughout product life cycle.

Requirements

  • Must be returning from a recent career gap of at least 1 year in order to be eligible
  • 2+ years of related practical experience prior to career gap
  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or proof of exceptional skills in related fields with practical software engineering experience
  • Experience in leading a technical project
  • C comprehension proficiency
  • Electrical hardware schematic understanding
  • Experience with embedded systems
  • Hands-on debugging complex subsystems involving network microprocessors and software-controlled electrical or electromechanical devices
  • Comfortable analyzing data to improve design and performance of a system
