The Role

The Logistics
finance team is responsible for North America freight invoice validation,
financial reporting, logistics invoicing system development, and data
analytics. As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for
capturing, analyzing, and documenting logistics freight invoicing needs and
translating them to Tesla’s freight invoice validation application. In the role
you will deliver system design, project planning, implementation, and user
acceptance testing for the application.

You will work
with financial analysts globally, logistics operations teams, global supply
management, and IT applications engineering to develop a scalable and automated
invoice application that can be used by internal and external stakeholders. You
will be a thought leader in developing system solutions as well as managing the
project execution. This requires you to acquire deep subject matter knowledge
about the different logistics invoicing processes, system designs, and
financial KPIs. To be a successful candidate for this role you should be a

environment.

Responsibilities

  • Understand
    and capture logistics freight audit business requirements and create system and
    process designs to deliver a fully functional application to business users.
  • Liaison
    with several business teams and technical developers for a scalable, automated,
    system solution.
  • Lead
    that defines functional and technical requirements, user acceptance testing,
    and go-live planning and support.
  • Author
    of training guides to help expand knowledge adoption and overall documentation.
  • Maintain
    and validate data quality through ongoing data audits and eliminate process
    gaps that contribute to bad data.
  • Develop
    and maintain reports for executive dashboards.
  • Execute
    the logistics invoicing application roadmap, lead business analysis,
    requirement definition and planning, product design and quality assessment.
  • Develop
    product communication and implementation plans on new offerings, changes and
    drive implementation with internal and external customers and business leads.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s
    Degree in business, finance, supply chain or industrial engineering or evidence
    of exceptional ability.
  • 2+
    years’ experience with industry ERP solutions like SAP and Oracle.
  • Project
    management skills including managing timelines, scopes, business expectations,
    and deliverables.
  • Understanding
    of financial concepts like cost accruals, cost accounting, and expense
    reporting.
  • Ability
    to communicate clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability
    to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver high quality results.
  • Independent
    self-starter with history of ownership and accountability of project timeline and
    results.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience
    with Agile methodology for product development.
  • Experience
    implementing ERP applications preferably as a consultant.
  • SQL
    and Tableau skills.
  • Programming
    skills in R, Python, etc.
