Responsibilities

The Tesla Energy Supply Chain team is seeking a Program Manager to support our growing industrial and residential Energy businesses. In this role, you will function as a key liaison between the Supply Chain Organization and internal stakeholders including Tesla’s Executive Team, Engineering, Sales and Manufacturing. Program Managers will collaborate closely with their Supply Chain team members including Global Supply Managers and Supplier Industrialization Engineers across all commodities on behalf of Supply Chain leadership.  The Program Manager will work closely with the core Program/Project team to manage high visibility and high value programs, applying program/project management skills to assure the timely and efficient execution of Tesla’s portfolio of projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or Operations Management (MBA or other advanced degree is a plus) 
• 5+ years of project / program management or strategic, supply chain experience in a fast paced, highly fluid environment; experience in a manufacturing organization strongly preferred (Experience in Energy Storage or Clean Energy Technology industries a plus)  
• Demonstrated, applied experience delivering complex programs and projects
• Superior analytical skills and the ability to use data and metrics to justify business decisions; knowledge of SQL (mySQL, Postgres, etc) is a plus   
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership
• Experience developing succinct, crisp executive summaries and presenting to leadership
• Exude executive presence and demonstrate comfort and ease presenting in front of Supply Chain leadership and Tesla’s Executive team on behalf of the Supply Chain organization
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment to achieve business objectives
• Demonstrated ability to establish business process issues and drive process improvement
• Open-minded self-starter with the ability to adapt, improvise and problem solve
• Ability to work independently in an ambiguous environment
• Meticulous, with a strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects with various stakeholders
