As a Staff Software QA Engineer focused on factory applications, you will be responsible for the pre-release validation of our applications, including automated and manual testing and other methods of quality assurance as it fits. You will hire your own team of QA engineers and give them technical and methodological directions to ensure that best software quality assurance practices are applied. You will also work closely with software developers and help them with applying design principles that help improve software quality.

Requirements

• People management experience
• Strong understanding of general concepts and
  practices of software engineering, ideally with experience with one or more of Go, Java and C# in collaboration with CI/CD toolchains using common
  technologies such as Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins
• Good understanding of REST and experience testing
  web service APIs using automation
• Hands-on experience with commonly used
  technologies like TestNG, Junit, Protractor, Cucumber, Jasmine, Cypress, WebDriverIO,
  Appium, J-Meter is a big plus
• Understanding of architectural challenges of
  high-performance, high-availability distributed systems, with the ability to
  positively influence architecture and design decisions
• Strong knowledge of relational database
  concepts and SQL
• Both familiarity with information security concepts
  and best practices as well as experience with Kafka and a deep
  understanding of streaming architectures is a big plus
