The
global IT Manufacturing Engineering team is responsible for rolling out high
impact use cases based on private cellular (4G/5G) networks/technology. Use
case environments include manufacturing, logistics and quality operations at
all Tesla factories. Key goals are increased production output, world class
product quality and faster set-up/ramp-up of production lines. This role is
required to research and test private cellular end devices, especially for
manufacturing use cases. It’s important to push device capabilities/vendors to
ensure maximum reliability, enable scalability and establish proper monitoring.
Matured devices are leveraged for rapid use case execution. 

Requirements

• Excellent in use case development and testing. Ideally
  worked in manufacturing before. 
• 6+ years’ experience with private cellular (4G/5G) networks
  / end devices 
• Extensive experience in 3GPP standards and cellular
  components from qualcomm, quectel, telit, sierra wireless, thales, sequans and
  simcom. 
• Solid level knowledge of IP networking, L2/L3 network
  protocols. TCP/IP, Profinet/Profisafe, OPC-UA, MQTT, Open Protocol. 
• Experience with developing device testing scenarios within
  (private) cellular (4G/5G) networks. 
• Experience working with wireless tools analyzer, for example WaveJudge, is beneficial
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio 
• Excellent organizational skills and solid team player 
• Solid analytical skills to troubleshoot high level, complex
  technical problems 
• Excellent verbal, written, and communication 
• Maintain a high degree of professionalism and integrity
