Responsibilities

At Tesla, we believe that security is a collaborative
partnership where we work together to educate, build and run secure
applications and infrastructure. Tesla is continuously pushing the boundaries
of innovation in transportation, energy generation and storage, self driving,
AI, hardware and software. The Platform Security team is responsible for
working with every single team within the company to enable them to build
applications and infrastructure with security in mind. There are very few jobs
in Security that will challenge you like this will.

On this team, one of our key areas of focus is our
continuously expanding cloud, container and ci/cd footprint. We are looking for
a strong and versatile engineer who has a strong track record and experience in
securing these environments. 

This role can be
based in Austin, TX, Fremont, CA or Bellevue, WA 

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge on AWS.
  Experience working with GCP and Azure is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of cyber
  security concepts and security threats applicable to public cloud
  platforms
• Scripting language like
  Python or PowerShell to create automation.
• Ability to develop IAC using
  Terraform or CloudFormation templates.
• Working knowledge of SIEM
  tool like Splunk
• Good understanding of
  industry standards like NIST, CIS and MITRE
• Working knowledge of Linux /
  Kubernetes
• 5+ years of overall
  experience and 3+ years of experience with AWS as a cloud security
  engineer / SRE
• At least 1+ year of
  experience in scripting
• Bachelor’s degree in
  information systems or equivalent
• Experience with any CSPM /
  CNAPP product is an added advantage
