Responsibilities
As a Sourcer for the Tesla Executive Recruiting Team you will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, and assessing talent to drive the hiring of critical executive positions at Tesla. This position requires a hands-on approach, outstanding communication and interviewing skills, and detailed knowledge of modern sourcing techniques aimed at unearthing the very best talent for our leadership teams. We seek experts in their craft who are driven by expansion, building, and driving Tesla’s mission forward.
This position is required to be onsite full-time at a Tesla location (Austin, TX / San Fracisco Bay Area, CA / Reno, NV).
Requirements
- Experience in assessing technical talent in a wide variety of fields like Engineering, Manufacturing, G&A, etc. and a proven track record of hiring exceptional talent.
- Experience sourcing candidates through multiple channels and maintaining meticulously accurate documentation in an ATS
- Expertise in both traditional and unique sourcing techniques to include online social and professional networks in addition to demonstrated ability to source ‘beneath the surface’ – targeted sourcing campaigns, targeted networking, etc.
- Deep understanding of organizational development – excellence in navigating a matrixed organization to build working relationships with key stakeholders, executives, hiring managers and recruiting partners
- High level of maturity, discretion, and common sense
- A sense of urgency, ability to multi-task and strong organizational skills
