Responsibilities

Location: Austin, TX or Fremont, CA

Tesla’s Engineering Operations and Training team is seeking a well-rounded Project Manager to lead multiple strategic initiatives. This person must be energized by quick timelines and excited to change the world. The ideal candidate is not satisfied with status quo – their target is exceptional. This Project Manager will support training curriculum for Engineering, rollouts for technology related content, other learning content necessary to close learning gaps, and data measurements for all Engineering programs. This person will perform a blend of responsibilities to expand and expertly manage these programs, including needs analysis, project management, learning design strategy, stakeholder management, and communications. They will also support non-learning initiatives across Engineering Operations. The ideal candidate will have proven results managing projects or programs from start to finish, with demonstrated competency in effectively achieving and measuring business impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, Business, Engineering, Psychology, Data Analysis or a similar technical or people-oriented field
• 2+ years experience as a Project Manager with experience managing training and performance improvement materials, preferably in a technical industry
• Proven ability to execute multiple large-scale projects to completion in a fast-paced environment while navigating ambiguity
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Jira, including Agile project management
• Highly organized with good time management skills while demonstrating consistent methodology and processes to deliver results
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
