Program Manager, Factory Training



  • The Program Manager, Factory Training position requires someone with exceptional abilities in building and managing large-scale training programs that serve multiple departments and roles. This individual must be structured, proactive, organized, flexible, data-driven, and have a passion for building robust training programs that meet the need of a large, high-volume production organization

    The Program Manager, Factory Training will be the primary owner for developing factory training programs which will include production associate training, technical training, and leadership development. It will work directly with senior production leaders across the Fremont Production team and require extensive collaboration across teams within Learning and Development, Human Resources, and Recruiting.


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
    5+ years leading learning & development, sales, automotive, or technology programs in a large organization
    Exceptional relationship, consulting, and influence capability demonstrated across diverse situations and contexts
    Exceptional ability to build and manage complex programs that span multiple business units and teams
    Able to distill complex problems and situations into simple solutions
    Capable of inspiring trust and confidence through effective communication and interpersonal skills with partners and employees at all levels of the company
    Demonstrated track record of being proactive, managing complex projects simultaneously, and focusing on critical priorities with little or no supervision
    Excellent problem-solving skills including the ability to digest information from multiple sources, interpret results and quickly derive consultations and recommendations
    Ability to speak comfortably and confidently publicly, in addition to superior written, verbal, and interpersonal communication
    Role is based in market in which you would support; up to 30% travel required and expectation is that you will be a strong individual contributor as well as Manager
    Experience managing teams with multiple domain responsibility preferred
    User experience with both Mac OS X and Windows operating systems, proficiency in Microsoft Office, Pages, and Keynote a plus
