Responsibilities

The Vehicle Operations Planning team is looking for exceptional engineers and economists. The Production Planner monitors the flow of our products through the multiple production shops in the factory, manages the build mix and sequence and ensures daily operational performance by identifying issues and execute tactical plans to protect our production output.

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience
• Prior manufacturing experience in a similar position  
• Ability to work well under pressure, manage competing demands and meet tight deadlines with strong follow through 
• Extensive budget management experience, forecasting and financial planning  
• Skilled in managing projects and cross-functional teams with a broad range of
  engineering and technical disciplines 
• Broad experience with manufacturing and planning systems and methodologies 
• Detail oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills 
• Availability for off-hours calls
