Responsibilities
Tesla is looking for a Lead
Mechanical Engineer to
work on large scale ground-up Engineering-Procurement-Construction project that requires
exceptional talent. The product is expected to be a never-built-before
production lines, and requirements demand production volume at a scale which
was once thought to be impossible to reach. Our environment is fast-paced and

Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical or equivalent
experience. Master’s Degree preferred - Minimum 10 of years HVAC, Mechanical and Process
Mechanical Systems design experience - Registered or Licenses international/location professional engineer is beneficial
- Professional design experience in a wide range of
project types including automobile industrial, electronics industrial, chemical
industrial, bio-tech/pharmaceutical, data centers, high tech/R&D, at least
involved two type large industrial experience - Proficient in not limited industrial cooling tower plant,
chiller plant, boiler room, gas yard, tank yard and other mechanical rooms - Rich experience in mechanical systems including, not
limited to; Dehumidification Units, Air Scrubbers, Dust Collectors, Heat
Exchangers, Chillers, Boilers, Cooling Towers, Pumps, Compressors, Natural gas,
Process gas/fluid systems, Air Handling Units, Terminal Units, Fans / Blowers,
Pumps, Control Valves and Instrumentation, Hazardous Exhaust, Dehumidification
Units, Heat Recovery Systems - Advanced knowledge of engineering design principles
and applicable design guides and standards related to assigned engineering
discipline. Including International Codes Council (ICC) Suite of Codes (codes
including Building, Mechanical, Plumbing, Energy Conservation, Fuel Gas, and
Fire Codes), ASHRAE Handbooks / Standards, SMACNA Standards, and Local code - Familiar
with the process of permits and authorizations from federal and local
governments, including natural gas connection, supply & sewage water
connection with municipal utility facility - Proficient in the use of various computer programs
such as HVAC load calculations, Pipe-flow, Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam,
AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks - Construction Administration
experience including site observation visits and review of RFIs, and shop
drawings, management the package - Direct experience in the preparation
of mechanical contract drawings and engineering specifications - Ability to communicate and coordinate
clearly and effectively, High sense of responsibility - Bilingual (English and Spanish)
