The Role
Tesla’s manufacturing engineering team is looking for a
highly self-motivated manufacturing process engineer (line-owner). The role is
focused on sustaining and (re)-designing production process for manufacturing
body assemblies. As an owner of specific production lines an extensive
theoretical and hands-on experience in body shop environment is requested. In
addtion to this experience managing new product introductions, equipment
projects (new installations) and process optimization, upgrades and modifications
is needed to fullfil the role.

Requirements
- Evidence of exceptional ability: proven track record of
mastering complex challenges in a high-speed manufacturing engineering environment -
Able to function independently, be a strong team player, detail oriented,
organized, hands-on and able to make strong decisions - Work well under pressure while managing competing demands
and tight deadlines -
Remain engaged, proactive and positive in tough circumstances, owning
assignments and taking full accountability for their success -
Maintain flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and assignments,
coping with rapidly changing information - Be results and data-driven, and able to effect change based on data

Experience creating various reports and database tools for presentation to
executive leaders within the organization. -
Experience with 2D line layouts (preferrable AutoCAD) and 3D CAD design
programs (preferrable Catia) - Language skills: German & English (Verbal & Written)
