Tesla is seeking a sharp, independent Low Voltage Repair Technician to work in the General Assembly production environment to resolve vehicle electrical issues, and support production test equipment.
You’ll need a strong technical aptitude, fast trouble-shooting capabilities, and good communication skills in order to succeed in this role. 
Responsibilities
• Be Production’s ‘First Responder’ to diagnose and repair vehicle harness and connector issues for vehicles moving through the production line.
• Assist End-of-Line Repair with troubleshooting vehicle connection issues and have the ability to make innovative repairs.
• Inspect electrical harnesses and connectors to ensure that they meet applicable codes and safety standards.
• Perform basic diagnosis, repairs and maintenance on low voltage production test and provisioning equipment.
• Log all repair issues and follow up on if appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and team members to deliver quality results.
• Provide clients with exceptional service.
• Triage repairs based on assessment of impact, risk, and resources.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement in safety, people, quality, rate, and cost.
• Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
• Previous low voltage diagnostic and repair experience
• Strong technical aptitude required
• Must be able to troubleshoot and problem solve on the spot
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to pass Tesla’s background check
• Moderate computer literacy
