The role

Tesla is
looking for a talented and motivated IT Asset Specialist to join the Factory IT
Infrastructure team that is responsible for the uninterrupted operation of the
physical IT infrastructure of the factory.

In this
role you will work with various teams and functions of Gigafactory
Berlin-Brandenburg, to follow and manage asset lifecycle transactions from
acquisition to retirement. You will have to improve and operate our asset
tracking, to provide an accurate picture of IT assets. Observing trends you
will make sourcing suggestions to Program Managers and Procurement, and will
participate in short-, medium- and long-term planning of IT assets. 

Requirements

• Ability to
  lift items up to 25 kg
• Ability to
  navigate ambiguity, work independently, prioritize, and stay focused in a
  fast-paced environment
• Excellent
  attention to detail and process discipline
• General
  knowledge of the various types of IT hardware
• Excellent
  interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience
  in an IT Asset Management or similar field
• Good
  knowledge of Excel, experience with management reporting
• Good time
  management skills

Desired
skills and experiences

• Working
  experience in automotive or manufacturing environment is a big plus
• Working
  experience with PowerBI, Tableau, or similar tools is a big plus
