The Lead Quality Technician
must have the ability to work with various teams in assembly including
engineering, quality, and suppliers across a wide variety of issues/ corrective
actions identified in line at GA4 and at end of line , testing and inspection.
Quality Technician Leads work in a manufacturing environment detecting defects
and repairing vehicles in fast paced environment. Reviewing and reporting out field quality
will serve as a point of contact for their respective areas and support
coordination of Quality Engineering and quality inspectors.
Ensures that Defects are
being NC’d on cars if needed
able to Identify and repair any issues
solid relationships in respective zone/pitches
effort to inspect and repair vehicles in GA and End Of Line
Help to coach/train associates on defect issues
First line of defense on new issues that arise
Flexible to dynamic changes in work content
based on business needs
Must be able to have quality meetings to
discuss previous shift top defects and to be able to set up Counter
Serve as the on-shift subject matter expert
(SME) for respective quality area.
Support Quality Engineering with progressing
quality investigations and robust problem solving and containment activities.
Lead quality containments when required to
minimize defect impact.
