The Role:
Employee is responsible for the correctness of the physical stock of the Warehouse Department within the prescribed work instructions and procedures. Daily follow up of the in- and outbound transactions and perform physical checks at the locations to maintain stock level accuracy.
He/she has been delegated the responsibility to resolve stock discrepancies in a timely manner according to the correct procedures.
Responsibilities: 
  • Improve location accuracy
  • Improve SKU accuracy
  • Perform stock checks (Cycle counting)
  • Reduce errors during WH process (Inbound, Put away, Replenishment, Pick, Pack)
  • Investigate Root Cause analyzes to identify reasons for discrepancies
  • Resolve stock discrepancies on hand / systematically
  • Liaise pro-active with local team to prevent delays in delivery / out of stock situations
  • Organize / coordinate (re-)labeling and (re-)packing activities 
  • Optimize routing at the Warehouse according to ABC analyzes
  • Solve issues more pro-active in general @ the operational WH process (Troubleshooting)
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role for 3 years, preferably at a 3PL provider
  • User knowledge of an Inventory Management System
  • On hands experience in regard to the operational tasks (forklift- and reach truck certificate) 
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Customer focused and able to work to tight deadlines
  • Good analyzing and problem-solving skills
  • Pro-active and flexible attitude
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a small team
  • Experience with Inventory Control systems (WMS, ERP)
  • Detailed experience with Cycle counting and practical use of Root Cause Analysis
