Responsibilities
Tesla is looking for a highly-motivated engineer to contribute to implementing and sustaining Industrial Engineering principles to the total manufacturing process. Through a detailed understanding of the factory objectives and extensive collaboration with internal and external teams, you will help optimize our manufacturing and material flow process. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Tesla’s world class manufacturing facility in Texas.
Requirements

Track record of
excellence in current and prior roles -
BS/MS in Industrial,
Manufacturing, or equivalent engineering field -
Experience as part of
a project team prioritizing multiple continuous improvement projects -
Experience
analyzing/optimizing factory, production line, or warehouse designs -
Able to work under
pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines -
Competency with
Microsoft Office suite, specifically high proficiency with Excel -
Exemplary verbal and
written communication skills -
Distinguishing
experiences/skills: 2D/3D CAD, lean manufacturing, work measurement, analytics
(SQL, Tableau), discrete event simulation, operations research, lean
manufacturing, scale manufacturing experience
