Responsibilities
Tesla, is seeking a motivated, experienced, and knowledgeable
Industrial Engineer to work in the EMEA Distribution for Vehicle Service and
Energy. The Industrial Engineer will work with Process Engineering, Warehousing
Operations, Facilities and Planning to fully layout end to end warehouse
design: define operational bottlenecks and system capabilities/needs.
This position will require a person that can understand the
details of warehouse processes, translating those into appropriate facility
plans for issue resolution, and executing successfully against those
plans.
The successful candidate is highly proactive and self-sufficient
in pursuing improvements projects, is able to multitask and refocus efforts
immediately to meet constantly shifting demands in a fast-paced environment and
have exceptional organizational skills to coordinate changes with all affected
teams.
Requirements
- Master’s degree
or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or
equivalent. - 3+ years related
experience in warehouse design, material flow engineering, or project
management in a manufacturing or distribution environment - Proficiency in
creating and reading 2D layouts in AutoCAD - Knowledge of
PDCA, Continuous Improvement, Lean methodologies - Analytical
capabilities including data analysis to optimize warehouse processes/operations
and inventory levels - Experience with SolidWorks
or Catia 3D modeling is a plus - Ability to
manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on
demand. - Problem solving
