Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced HR professional who enjoys driving employee engagement and building organizational scalability in pursuit of the Tesla mission. The primary responsibility for this role is providing advice, guidance and support to a variety of businesses (Engineering, Charging, Energy, Tech) in a truly generalist capacity. Operating as an HRBP, you will ensure that all HR policies and procedures are implemented in line with legislative and audit requirements in conjunction with requirements, however you will also ensure we do not do stupid corporate things! You will in collaboration with local management and key stakeholders and People COE’s (Recruitment, Operations, Compensation, Benefits, Legal, Employee Relations, People Development and learning etc.) ensure we bring in great talent; we grow and development key talent, proactively support performance improvements, growth of our people succession and growth of the teams and individuals.

Requirements

  • Strong generalist HR experience is essential for this role. 
  • Good working knowledge of local employment law and HR best practice. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken and able to develop positive working relationships across all levels and functions. 
  • Proven track record of positively influencing teams  
  • Ability to connect and engage with all teams at all levels and treat everyone as equal. 
  • Able and comfortable working in a developing, fluid and constantly changing company. 
  • Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload and meet deadlines. 
  • Fluency in German
