Disclaimer: This position is expected to start around June/July 2023 and continue through the entire Summer and Fall term (i.e., through December). We ask for a minimum of 6 months full-time, for most internships. Please consider before applying.

International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. Again, please do not apply until you know you can work 40 hours per week. This is required for external applicants. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.

What to Expect

Tesla is seeking a highly motivated student to intern on our Global Trade & New Markets Team. Tesla’s Global Trade & New Markets Team supports all Import / Export Operations globally and is responsible for Tesla’s Trade Compliance policies, programs, applications, and tools, as well as due diligence in expanding our global footprint into New Markets. During the initial phase of the internship, the intern will rotate through the Global Trade & New Markets Team’s functional areas, such as Operations, Legal, Strategy, Programs, etc., to better understand the scope of the Team’s work, with the second phase focused on a specific Global Trade & New Market functional area. A capstone deliverable, such as a presentation, project, or work process will be presented at the completion of the internship, culminating the experiences gained and lessons learned.
