Responsibilities

The Utility Megapack BESS EPC team is looking to hire a skilled professional to execute the infrastructure development and electrical construction sourcing strategy. This team selects contractors, materials, services and equipment required for the development and deployment of our Megapack Product for Battery Energy Storage Systems and their associated sub-stations. The role encompasses the selection of these through a competitive tender/bid process involving document preparation (scope, drawings, etc.) for projects while leading external negotiations, and collaborating closely with internal stakeholders. Additional support will be required for service related (MRO) material for currently deployed BESS Site.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, and/or equivalent experience or evidence of exceptional ability
• First hand experience or strong interest in construction-related Purchasing or Construction Management, Engineering; or experience with General Contractors and construction drawings
• Experience sourcing labor for electrical substation construction
• 5-7 years of related work experience in Procurement, Operations or Consulting
• Understanding of contract fundamentals and negotiations
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a dynamic, extremely fast-paced environment with guidance from a Team Manager
• Ability to make quick decisions with 80% information
• Ability to work cross-functionally among engineering, production, service, and energy teams
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel
