Responsibilities
Tesla is seeking energetic and highly motivated Furnace Technicians
to join our Castings team. The Furnace Technician position is
critical to ensuring the reliability and success of Tesla’s manufacturing
operations, and you’ll have the opportunity to become a part of it. You will bring knowledge and experience in extreme elements. A strong drive to learn new skills and acquire
knowledge will improve your likelihood to success both in this role and your
personal career development at Tesla.
Requirements
- Associate degree or technical certificate is a plus
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing / mass production environment
- 1+ year of experience in aluminum melting operations
- Ability to manage workload while contributing to a positive, fast paced, team-oriented work environment
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles
- Skilled with the use of a variety of hand tools and basic measurement tools
- Detail oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills
