Responsibilities

Tesla is looking for a lab chemical analysis technician to assist lab operation in advanced chemical analysis techniques such as ICP-OES, IC, and AA techniques, the candidate will be a core member of an interdisciplinary materials research and development team focusing on developing high-performance electrode materials for Li ion batteries. 

Requirements

·      Technical background in chemistry, chemical engineering, or materials science / metallurgy.

·       1+ years of experience working with wet chemical analysis (ICP-OES, IC, AA, titration, pH), solid materials digestion, and solution sample preparation

·       Able to pay attention to details to provide consistent high-quality output for solid sample digestion and solution sample preparation

·       Good computer skills for data analysis and reporting necessary, programming ability using Python and Mathlab is a plus

·       Able to operate independently and in multi-tasking collaborative environments

·       Good verbal and written communication skills.
