Responsibilities
Tesla is seeking a sharp, independent Low Voltage Repair Technician to work in the General Assembly production environment to resolve vehicle electrical issues.
You’ll need a strong technical aptitude, fast trouble-shooting capabilities, and good communication skills in order to succeed in this role.
Requirements
- Previous experience
with automotive electrical systems, wire harnesses, components, and/or devices - Previous experience
servicing, trouble-shooting/diagnosing and repairing wiring, connectors and
associated components - Ability to use
multi-meters, soldering, crimping, mechanical tasks; preference given for
higher skill - Ability to run
software, including diagnostics - Previous experience
reading and understanding electrical schematics and engineering drawings
required; preference given for understanding and creating work instructions for
installation and repair - Previous experience
sourcing and buying various tools, hardware components and test equipment is a
plus - Must be willing to
work night shift and weekends as needed to support production
