The Project Control Team’s primary objective is to support the
engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) group in the design, planning,
and execution of company infrastructure by providing management with critical,
decision-making information that ensures projects deliver on time and on
budget. We are seeking a CSA Cost Estimator with relevant construction
experience to support the buildout of Tesla’s global facilities and
infrastructure. This position will be directly responsible for planning and
executing project estimates to support the execution team throughout the
various design stages, as well as during project execution.

Requirements

• BS in Engineering,
  Construction, or Construction Management and/or evidence of exceptional ability
• Experience in
  construction cost estimating and pre-construction services: preferably in
  industrial, manufacturing, and/or high-tech industries
• Good understanding
  of construction means and methods in the Civil, Structural and Architectural
  disciplines.
• Advanced MS Excel
  and Navis Works
• Software systems
  and packages including Aconex, Oracle Unifer, P6, Bluebeam, CAD, and other
  construction packages
• Knowledge of
  construction schedules
• Knowledge of
  construction estimating resources such as RS Means and Equipment Watch
• Ability to work
  well under pressure, managing competing demands and meet tight deadlines with
  strong follow through
• The ideal candidate
  is analytical, detail-oriented, self-motivated, well organized, and able to
  pro-actively communicate with all employees and works well in a fast-paced
  multi-cultural environment
• English proficiency
  required; Additional language skills are a plus
