Responsibilities
- The Controls Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting and programming robot applications, conveyor systems, equipment, and process/equipment monitoring systems. In addition, will collaborate with the maintenance team to fix and improve equipment failures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in electrical, mechatronics, or mechanical engineering preferred. Relevant hands-on experience and a proven record of delivering results will be considered in-lieu of specific formal educational criteria.
- 1-2+ years of professional controls engineering experience.
- 1-2+ years of advanced PLC programming knowledge on Rockwell, Siemens or equivalent PLS’s in a professional environment.
- Understanding of databases and various program languages (Java, Python).
- HMI programming experience – Ignition and Wonderware.
- Robotic programming skills desired.
- Proven project management experience.
- Proficient in CAD working with electrical diagrams and prints.
- Flexibility in working weekends and night shift as required.
