Responsibilities
Tesla is seeking to hire a Commissioning Specialist Lead for
Texas Gigafactory with either Controls, Electrical, Mechanical or Process
background. Working closely with design, construction, facilities, and
manufacturing end users to deliver a robust system designed to meet the needs
of production in a timely matter.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical,
Controls Engineering or other comparable degree - Seven years engineering & or commissioning experience
with Facilities building system such as: Chillers, Boilers, Compressors, Cooling
Towers, HVAC, General/Process Exhaust, Industrial & Domestic water system, Dust
Collection, Natural Gas, Electrolyte / Glycol Systems - Ability to travel across multiple factories, domestic or international
- Understanding of construction, programming, and operation
of Building Management Systems and/or SCADA systems - Great organizational skills
- Able to work on own initiative and with limited
supervision - Flexible and able to adapt to current
and new company
requirements - Ability to interact and coordinate effectively with all levels of construction, facilities operations, manufacturing, engineering, and management
