Please note, this is a 6 month fixed term contract, for maternity leave cover.

At Tesla, our mission is to accelerate the transition to sustainable energy. Integrating Virtual Power Plants (VPPs) into energy networks is a crucial enabler of that mission. We seek a Commercial Manager to lead the operation and growth of Tesla’s VPP across Australia. 

To date, Tesla’s VPP has successfully deployed Australia’s largest VPP and launched Tesla Energy Plan for private homeowners across the National Electricity Market, with the VPP poised for significant growth.

Requirements

• 8+ Years’ experience in the Australian energy Market with an understanding of how to grow business in this competitive environment
• Previous experience with energy retailers is highly desirable
• Previous experience with VPPs is desirable but not essential, as you’ll be supported by a high-caliber, multi-functional team
• Demonstrated attitude and approach, along with tenacity and learning agility
