Business Analyst, Sales & Delivery


As a
Business Analyst, you will develop insights to inform strategic decisions,
unlock new initiatives, and optimize systems to enable our ambitious mission.
You will work cross functionally with senior leaders and stakeholders across
Operations, Finance, IT Applications and Business Intelligence teams.

Fremont, CA (Bay Area)


You will
be joining our team as a Business Analyst, responsible for identifying
opportunities and risks across the operations flow, from sales, logistics, real
estate, service, delivery and market insights. Following the identification of
said initiatives, you will be responsible for designing solutions, driving
implementation, and measuring impact. Your projects will impact cross-functional
workstreams, so you must be collaborative and influential. The results of your
work will persist long after you move on to solve new problems.


  • Analyze key
    performance indicators, unit economics, inventory data and forecast future performance
    (includes developing models and decision-making tools)
  • Provide strategic
    insights and conclusions based on analysis, including concise, digestible
    arguments with data
  • Identify system
    and process improvements to optimize operational flow, inventory management,
    order dwell and turn-time
  • Partner with
    stakeholders across Tesla to ensure data integrity and accuracy, and automation
    of recurring tasks
  • Manage and execute projects end-to-end, whilst
    driving integration and optimization of all corresponding components,
    documentation, processes and deliverables
  • Manipulate and interpret large datasets to
    deliver actionable insights with risk assessment to leadership
  • Act as a database
    and system expert, provide support to the users from the Sales and Delivery
    organization on related applications, operations processes, and operational


  • Strong analytical
    and problem solving skills, along with excellent written and verbal
  • Detail-oriented,
    resourceful and able to manage shifting priorities
  • Minimum of
    Bachelor’s Degree, major in Analytics, Engineering, Applied Mathematics,
    Computer Science, Economics or equivalent experience
  •  2+ years’
    experience in analytics role or customer facing role in sales or operations
  • Expert modeling
    skills in Excel required
  • Experience with
    SQL or similar language preferred
  • Familiarity with
    Tableau, Power BI, Visio or other data visualization tools
  • Superior business
    judgement – ability to flex between big picture thinking, understand and
    distill complex ideas, and analyze data to drive strategic objectives
  • Trustworthy and
    discreet with highly sensitive non-public information
  • Passion for Tesla’s
