The Role

 

The  Associate Manager, Fixed Equipment/Automated Maintenance for Production Control is responsible for managing a team of maintenance technicians to support automated material flow equipment for Production Control. This role is vital to meet production demand and improve operations by hiring and training associates, drive continuous improvements to meet quality standards and optimize flow, capacity, ergonomics, safety, etc.

  • Possess and demonstrate leadership skills in a production environment.
  • Experience supervising large teams, 5 years required, 10 years preferred
  • Experience resolving conflict.
  • Experience in hiring and developing team members and leaders.
  • Experience in new product development and launch activities.
  • Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines.
  • Effectively communicate to all levels in the organization, including large group presentations and translate complex ideas into a simple easy to understand format.
  • Foster a professional atmosphere of respect and growth.
  • Demonstrate problem solving skills (man, method, machine, material, etc.).
  • Knowledge of daily startup qualification procedures and SPC.
  • Able to effectively multitask.
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs to access out-of-the-way equipment.
