Responsibilities

The Associate
Manager, EHS Technical and Mobile Equipment Training will be responsible for
leading the 24/7 EHS Training Program at Giga Texas. The training program scope
will encompass developing, delivering, auditing, and continuously improving EHS
technical and Mobile Equipment training.

To meet Tesla’s
standard of excellence for this role, the ideal candidate must demonstrate a
passion for training, expert level knowledge of EHS technical training and
mobile equipment safe operation, and the ability to design and deliver highly
effective training content to all levels of an organization. Candidates must
also possess previous experience managing training and operations at a
high-volume training center. 

The Associate
Manager, EHS Technical and Mobile Equipment Training will be expected to
demonstrate leadership, integrity and professionalism to support training
activities with continuous collaboration with Production Leadership, HR,
Recruiting, EHS, Factory Design, and other cross-functional training
stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+
  years of experience working as a Training Manager and People Manager 
• 3+ years of hands-on
  experience and/or instructing one or more of the following: LOTO, Fall
  Protection, Crane and Hoist, Electrical Safety, Confined space entry, high
  voltage electrical work, Mobile Equipment Safety,
• 3+
  years’ experience operating and/or instructing PIV safe operation
  including but not limited to Forklifts, Electric Pallet Jacks, Aerial lift, Tugger, Reach Truck etc. 
• Strong
  understanding of OSHA regulatory and reporting guidelines [For instance;
  1910.178 (Powered Industrial Truck) requirements] 
• Bachelor’s
  degree preferred but not required 
• Ability
  to work effectively within a fast-paced environment 
• Ability
  to influence and communicate with all levels of management 
• Evidence
  of exceptional ability.
