Engineering Technician

Role Summary:

In this role, you will be part of a highly dynamic and diverse team and help drive complete electrical development from concept to production. Within this multi-faceted team, you will lead and support critical electrical work at a harness, subsystem, and full vehicle level.


  • Wiring Harness Prototyping – You will interpret early prototype level pinouts, diagrams or drawings to build “first of their kind” harnesses and electrical subsystems, then support subsequent debugging and design verification
  • Vehicle Prototyping and Testing – You will support with building and planning of electrical vehicle-level updates, modifications, and testing equipment provisioning.
  • Root Cause Challenging Issues – You will diagnose and root cause a wide variety of electrical issues which arise from evolving development across harness, ECUs, and software.
  • Drive System Issues to Resolution – You will exhibit the technical and leadership skills to drive resolutions from the root causes, by sharing information to relevant teams across the company.
  • Mentorship – You will train and mentor colleagues in areas of high aptitude and maintain an attitude of growing those around you.
  • Collaborative Problem Solving– You will work closely and collaborate with all relevant teams across the company to drive solutions.


  • Technical Training (Automotive, Electrical, Aerospace, or comparable)
  • 1+ years hand-on experience building complex wiring harnesses, electrical subsystems, or vehicle level electrical work
  • 2+ years hand-on experience trouble shooting and repairing electrical systems
  • Well versed in automotive networking systems, CAN, LIN and Ethernet
  • Electric/hybrid vehicle experience preferred
  • Thrives in fast paced, and ambiguous environments
  • Strong collaborative attitude, and team- player
  • Self-motivated and self-sufficient
  • Demonstrated strong creative thinking and problem-solving toolbox
