Regional Operations Manager

Let us describe the challenge we offer

As a Regional Operations Manager you will be responsible for the monthly, quarterly and yearly revenue, sales, customer service and customer experience goals within your market . You will foster a positive and collaborative working relationship with the retailer network that results in win-win solutions to business challenges and maximizes opportunities within the market. You will be responsible for implementing processes and solutions to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty amongst our Polestar Spaces and Service Points (retail network). This role will focus on all facets of the retail business to ensure a benchmark CX journey, from order intake to aftercare during a consumer’s ownership. You will also be responsible to support local marketing activities.

What you’ll do

  • Ensure the most efficient communication channels are used to provide information to the Polestar retailer network on programs, initiatives, and campaigns.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the retailer network for sales and service-related topics
  • Manage the profit levers and sales KPIs of an automotive retailer.
  • You will lead the business planning process with retailer partners.
  • Ensure initiatives, resources and timing are aligned to the overall corporate business goals.
  • Monitor customer experience and satisfaction within specified region.
  • Ensure proper action planning is in place to achieve premium customer experience.

This is a field-based position that requires significant travel throughout Canada and is preferable for you to live closely to an airport.

Who you are

  • Understanding of the automotive eco-system, preferably with experience in the Electric Vehicle industry and the needs of a premium customer within a retail environment, the key satisfaction, and sales drivers in a premium retail industry.
  • Prior experience managing relationships with third party stakeholders (preferably automotive retailers)
  • Understand Dealer Franchise Legislation.
  • Proven experience delivering training and individual coaching to retail teams.
  • Ability to think strategically, work tactically, with strong project management skills and present to C level executive teams and retailer principals alike.
  • Drive and determination to work in an evolving, ever-changing environment.
