Reporting to the POD manager in the Operations Department, you will cover sales forecasting, order tracking, delivery planning, registrations as well as the various internal fleets. You will focus the Order to Delivery (OTD) strategy to ensure that foremost the Polestar customers are delivered their cars in an efficient and premium manner. This role is based in Madrid, Spain.

 

What you’ll do

In this role, you will ensure that all cars within Spain market are delivered on time and in a Polestar way by managing the internal cars entire flow, from production order to car planning & management. The tasks will also include placing stock orders, reporting on stock situation, and managing order matching, as well as review and manage third party logistics providers. By collaborating with the Local Finance Control, you will ensure an operational and financial flow. You will also be responsible of monitoring and report on order bank to assist in forecasting monthly and yearly targets whilst investigating and follow-up on process gaps and highlight opportunities for improvement.

Moreover, you will:

  • Ensuring data within the factory order system (VISTA) is accurate and supports dashboard reports, highlighting any discrepancies between systems to central teams
  • Troubleshooting any problems within the OTD journey and escalating where necessary
  • Planning and overseeing requirements for the registration of vehicles
  • Supporting the POD manager in developing the market/OTD strategy in Spain and Portugal
  • Support Polestar internal cars management & planning including Company Cars and Dealer cars from a central perspective & market level

 

Who you are

We are looking for a self-starter who can adopt a proactive approach and take initiative with minimal supervision. You have a great ability to coordinate and work in a team, managing multiple stakeholders both internally and externally, since you understand the importance of ensuring that no details are overlooked. On top of this, you strive to work in a structured and efficient manner with a strong passion for cars. We want you with a “can-do” attitude with a flexible mindset of being able to switch tasks whenever needed.

Further on, we believe you to have:

  • At least one year of experience in the automotive industry or logistics, or equivalent degree experience
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Excellent skills in MS Excel
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, both verbally and in writing
