We are currently seeking a Technical Project Manager for our EMC team. This position requires an automotive professional with relevant experience planning and organizing efforts for EMC simulation and testing for design and production validation. Our ideal candidate exhibits a strong drive, an organized mindset, and has had prior experience bringing vehicles to production. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.

 

The Role:

 

  • Own and organize the EMC attribute requirements and schedule for testing and simulation deliverables
  • Ensure that testing teams are on track to meet schedule and EMC attribute targets
  • Coordinating system and vehicle testing and EMC requirements across the organization
  • Securing test facilities and coordinating testing logistics for significant off-site tests
  • Coordinate with vendors / suppliers executing EMC activities on Lucid’s behalf.
  • Track vehicle program’s status towards meeting attribute and compliance targets
  • Support the organization by coordinating resources and eliminating blockers
  • Regularly report EMC testing status to management and executives

    Qualifications:

     

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross functional teams to accomplish common goals
  • Proven experience with automotive vehicle development
  • A strong understanding of EMC global industry standards[
  • A strong understanding of EMC design or testing requirements
  • Experience in EMC design or testing coordination
  • Experience making schedules for large programs / projects
  • Excellent communication skills and team-oriented attitude
  • Detail oriented and organized mindset
  • Comfortable with initiating and taking ownership of projects
  • Track record of establishing strong processes and work procedures
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize with strong time management
  •  

    Education:

     

  • Bachelor of Science minimum in a relevant science or engineering field or extensive years doing relevant work in the automotive industry
  • Preferred:

     

  • Masters degree in a relevant engineering field
  • MBA or professional certification for Project/Program Management
  • A strong knowledge of the automotive EMC compliance process for production vehicles
  • Experience with fully electric vehicles
  • Direct experience with Jira/Confluence, SmartSheets, Jama
  • 5+ years of experience in the automotive or relevant industry
