We are currently seeking an experienced Localization Program Manager to develop and implement a scalable localization process for Marketing programs globally. You will be responsible for working cross-functionally to identify the ideal process that will help drive localization operational efficiency and excellence. This position requires experience in content internationalization and localization program and project management.

The Role:

 

  • Lead the development and implementation of an efficient global localization framework for a diverse portfolio of marketing content  
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product Marketing, Engineering, Brand, Retail, Software, Digital CX, Legal and translation/localization vendors to identify current pain points, needs and timelines to define the appropriate localization process 
  • Assess the current new market launch approach and identify processes and tools needed to scale localization operations 
  • Track and manage feedback on localization process from cross-functional teams
  • Utilize feedback to provide actionable insights to improve processes and tools over time to optimize efficiency, collaboration, productivity and decrease time to market for localized content
  • Project Manage upcoming localization projects and timelines that require global cross-functional collaboration; track key milestones and hold teams accountable for on-time delivery 
  • Drive localization tasks with high degree of independence and reliability
  • Gather and share metrics on framework status and value of impact 
  • Build a strong education system on the localization framework that begins at content inception to delivery 
  • Evangelize localization best practices, raise awareness of localization processes, requirements, timelines and impacts with cross-functional partners

    Qualifications:

     

  • BA or BS in a related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Understanding of localization processes, translation systems and vendors and passion for establishing standards of excellence
  • Skilled in building and optimizing complex workflows
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills to get things done in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including relationship building and ability to stay focused under pressure
  • Experience managing medium to large-scale projects and vendor relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Track record of successful project completion – prioritizing and creating structure across large, ambiguous programs
  • Results-oriented, with an aptitude of moderation and reconciliation, a positive outlook and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
