We are seeking a Senior Commercial Paralegal who can assist attorneys with the intake and management of all commercial matters, counterparty screening, template development, contract flow, and database oversight. Who can work independently to negotiate template-based contracts. As well as support integration of workflows into technology platforms including Contract Life Management software.


You Will:


  • Negotiate NDA’s and other template-based contracts following Lucid’s Playbook.
  • Provide an initial response to contract-related inquiries and help manage communications between the Legal Commercial Team and all Lucid business units, including Supply Chain, HR, Finance, IT, Software, Engineering, and Facilities.
  • Collaborate with Legal Compliance on vendor screening and monitoring
  • Oversee end-to-end processes for Lucid’s transactions, beginning with receipt of requests for contract generation through routing for signatures, final distribution, archiving, and management thereafter.
  • Leverage technology including a contract life management platform to support attorney redlining, negotiation, and management of a high volume of commercial contracts.
  • Ensure business activities and contracts comply with internal policies and guidelines, and industry laws and regulations.
  • Support end-to-end successful completion of assigned contracts and timely response to support requests.
  • Ensure compliance by internal clients with established Lucid policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and distribute reports and statistical data to facilitate planning and management of attorney workload and accurate contract records.
  • Manage templates, update playbooks and enforce approval and signature processes.

    You Bring:


  • Bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years of business or related experience.
  • 5+ years of contract management/paralegal experience with a top-tier law firm or mid-size technology or manufacturing company.
  • Keen understanding of contract drafting/negotiation skills and issue-spotting.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, shift focus, adapt to changing priorities, maintain patience in high-pressure situations and take initiative where appropriate.
  • Technologist, proficient in MS 365, as well as project management and/or contract management platforms.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-output, team-oriented, practical environment.
  • Ability to pivot between goals and projects as company priorities shift.
