We are currently seeking a talented Product Manager for Lucid Smart Energy Products and the Smart Energy Program. This position requires an experienced professional with a proven track record of excellence in defining products and bringing products to the market. The candidate demonstrates strong organizational capability and the ability to command respect from the talented cross functional teams. The ideal candidate will communicate proactively, so each individual team member remains aware of the timing and delivery expectations placed upon them and that critical issues are identified and brought to the attention of senior management in a timely manner.
The Role:
Oversee and define products in the area of vehicle-to-home, vehicle-to-business, and vehicle-to-grid, vehicle-to-vehicle, and vehicle-to-load
Define and align use cases
Specify System and Component behavior
Propose, develop and maintain smart energy architectures and smart energy components
Propose and manage the product roadmap
Propose and get decided on customer facing products
Drive customer interaction to get feedback from the market
Define required components and their functionality like a smart energy device, data sensors, cloud energy management logic, local user interfaces on smart phone app, web interface
Qualifications:
Technical experience in the field of electric vehicle charging
Technical experience with smart home energy systems and the electrical grid
Preferably 3+ years experience in the relevant field with an emphasis on product definition and managing roadmaps
Understanding of electrical principles
Strong ability of abstraction and combining a system-wide approach with product-centric specifications
Experience with creating system and component specifications and requirements and defining test cases
Education:
Master’s degree preferred
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technical discipline (electrical engineering, microelectronics, computer science, physics, or similar).
