The Information Technology Applications Manager is responsible for leading an IT Team which oversees and assists with current practices, coordinating and assigning tasks, developing work schedules, completing activities related to IT applications that support our internal Business teams. In addition, supervise software development, maintenance, and assist with vendor selection and management. Studies, analyzes and reports on trends, operational risks and opportunities for expansion.

 

The Role:

 

  • Provides people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing employee performance and compensation decisions, promoting teamwork and handling any/all disciplinary actions, as required.
  • Liaise with IT leaders to explore new or existing technologies that could be used for addressing inefficiencies, improving operations or solving problems.
  • Accountable for the vision, implementation and support ongoing of Business tools applications (ServiceNow, Atlassian, Intranet, O365… )
  • Leads a team of professionals and may be accountable for leading projects within a business area
  • Ensures communication, implementation and/or training plans that are identified and detailed in order to implement projects and/or business initiatives
  • Responsible for 25 processes of medium complexity
  • Understands and contributes to the achievement of business strategy, goals and objectives
  • Identifies and recommends process improvements and/or automation opportunities to enhance the productivity and operational efficiency of the business
  • Gathers, prioritizes and explains user requirements to support project activities, process improvements, systems development, etc.
  • Serves as a consultant, providing advice, business expertise, and recommendations on business and/or operational processes
  • Optimize workflows to ensure high value and consistent service delivery
  • Enterprise subject matter expert for Customer Service that provides guidance and support to all businesses, shares best practices, identifies gaps, develops plans to improve, and help train on new enhancements.

    Qualifications:

     

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, start-up like environment
  • Strong Project Management, organizational, analytic skills
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement automation tools that streamline service delivery processes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of Experience
