We are looking for an Instructional Design Manager to develop, organize, manage and scale Lucid’s instructional design team and related processes. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches their work with vigor and determination. Candidates are expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, possess the ability to learn quickly and thrive within a fast-paced environment.
Design, develop and implement instructional design standards for all modalities in domestic and international markets
Coach, assist and manage an instructional team that includes instructional designers and curriculum developers
Collaborate with the Sales and Service Training Program Managers and Field Training Manager to create foundational and engaging learning experiences for rapidly growing audiences
Manage all instructional design projects, from analysis to evaluation
Gather, analyze, and implement improvements to learning offerings based on field performance data and feedback
BA/BS instructional design/ education related field or equivalent experience
8+ years’ experience in instructional design and curriculum development
Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate with stakeholders to meet operational performance goals
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workloads, maintain a strong attention to detail, and work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and manage parallel projects with diverse scope
Deep understanding of the adult learning theory
Experience managing a large diverse team
A mastery of knowledge in the Articulate 360 suite of tools
