Karma Automotive, founded in 2014, is a southern California based producer of luxury electric vehicles. The Demand Planning Manager will be responsible for Supply Chain Management and Planning. Verifiable record of achievements in Demand Management, Procurement Planning, and Inventory Management.  Responsible for implementing Demand Planning process and IBP (Integrated Business Planning) process.  Will be responsible for leading the monthly Demand Review meetings with Executives, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance.  Work with IT to improve the SAP SCM processes. 

Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):

  • Implement demand planning process and IBP (Integrated Business Planning) process
  • Responsible for leading the monthly Demand Review meetings with Executives, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance
  • Partner with IT to improve the SAP SCM processes
  • Develop systems, processes and procedures for forecast accuracy
  • Perform other duties as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in Supply Chain Management or related degree 
  • Certified Supply Chain expert
  • At least 6 years of direct experience

Character traits and related responsibility:

  • Detail-oriented and results-focused experience in Supply Chain Management, Demand Management, Procurement Planning, and Inventory Management.
  • Recognized for consistent success in developing systems, processes, and procedures for forecast accuracy improvement, inventory optimization, and service level enhancement.
  • Possess strong analytical skills with extensive background in applying statistical models
  • Experience in implementing Integrated Business Planning process
  • Experience in leading executive S&OP meeting.
  • Experience in planning tool for procurement operations and planning, and inventory projections.
  • Experienced with SAP a Plus
