~ Under direction of the Marketing Communications Director, the Marketing & Advertising Senior Group Manager will lead the development and production of all National advertising against key Hyundai marketing objectives to increase Brand Awareness, Opinion, consideration and ultimately drive overall demand.
~ Responsible for the implementation of the overall creative strategy, look & feel across all marketing channels to build the brand, drive demand, and importantly establish a clear brand identity and personality.
~ Issue and maintain Brand Guidelines to the integrated marketing team to ensure all communications are consistent and importantly, aligned with brand identity, guidelines, tone, and strategy.
~ Oversee and drive the development of creative platforms & concepts across all marketing channels with a key focus within the digital arena – social, branded content, DCO, programmatic, pre-roll, display, influencer marketing, video, OOH, print, radio, retail-level (including brochures and POS).
~ Support the strategic direction, management, & coordination with key partners including agency/IWA, Canvas, Data providers, Hyundai Finance, and internal HMA Departments, clearly defining roles and responsibilities and ensuring that all programs are on strategy and deliver maximum ROI.
~ Oversee planning and responsible use of overall production budget; track expenditures and manage cost consultants to maximize efficiencies; must be able to maximize available resources and demonstrate ability to adapt to economic conditions.
~ Oversee advertising & communications research/testing/social listening.
~ Manage agency partners: defining roles & responsibilities, planning and project assignments, providing strategic input and feedback, etc.
~ Coach and develop direct reports’ time and project workload; provide guidance and recognize and cultivate diverse talents of staff while focusing on goals and vision of the company.
~ Maintain an awareness of changing market trends, consumer attitudes and opinions.
~ Collaborate & effectively communicate across all HMA departments, Regions & Vendors.
~ Effectively coach, counsel, and develop team members. Utilize the diverse talents of the team by efficiently managing time, materials and budget while focusing on the goals and vision of the company.
~ This position requires ability to problem solve, make decisions and operate with an entrepreneurial spirit within the framework of a team concept.
~ Team direction, goal setting, and performance evaluation.
~ Signature authority on PRs, POs based on Finance matrix.
~ Budget management.
~ RFP and vendor selection.
~ Signature authority on expense reports and time-off reports for direct reports.
~ Conduct hiring interviews, make hiring recommendations, extend approved hiring offers.
~ Must have a high school diploma.
~ Bachelor’s degree preferred.
~ Master’s degree a plus.
~ Ten plus years of Marketing/Advertising experience with a focus within the digital arena.
~ Five years automotive experience preferred.
~ Understanding of Analytics and engagement
~ Agency and/or related client-side experience preferred.
~ Agency experience a plus.
~ Five plus years of supervisory experience desired.

~ Ability to manage in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment, with multiple projects and vendor partners.
~ Heavy emphasis on interpersonal relationship skills, analytical skills, written and oral communication skills and leadership skills.
~ Ability to lead creative development of a campaign and maintain a macro strategy.
