Purpose:

~ This position is responsible for assisting in the development, implementation and evaluation of the company’s national sales training activities including product training, sales experience best practices, online and in dealership training curriculum, competitive reference materials and more. The position is responsible for regional and dealer training support and communication. Responsible for training and management of training supplier relationships required to fulfill training program needs. Responsible for developing and updating Hyundai’s Learning Management System, websites, and other systems and materials. Helps develop annual national sales training budget. Works collaboratively within team and other supporting departments. This position is a hybrid role and should be based in Southern California.

 

Major Responsbilities:

~ Provide project management, support, and guidance to key vendors in the development and execution of various projects and training as well as platforms like: Training Website management.

~ Activities include, but not limited to managing the day-to-day project activities and progress, and establishment of project scopes, timeline, and budget.

~ Responsibilities include developing and guiding development of training content and materials as well as reviewing work product for accuracy and quality.

 

Product and Process Competencies:

~ Educate and train dealership and field personnel through a variety of media to enhance every aspect of the customer sales experience.

~ Develop and implement web-based training programs which includes content design, content review, user acceptance testing (UAT), enrollment tracking, post-course surveys, compliance reporting, certifications, and resolving region and dealership personnel support inquiries.

~ Product Modules – produce each Hyundai vehicle model and model year to communicate product packaging, specifications, feature operations, and competitive comparisons to Hyundai Sales Consultants and Sales Managers.

~ Process Modules – Develop information about sales best practices and the Hyundai brand to Sales Managers and Sales Consultants as part of the STAR course curriculum.  Subjects include but not limited to Hyundai branded sales process, consulting, financial analysis, Finance and Insurance (F&I), lead management, negotiating, delivery, relationship management, and prospecting.

~ Assist Sr. Manager as needed in other training projects, request for proposal/quotes, budget management, etc.

 

Authority:

~ Authority to determine accuracy of content in training materials.

 

Education:

~ High school diploma required; bachelor's degree strongly preferred (or equivalent).

 

Related Experience:

~ New incumbents typically have at least 3-5 years of related work experience and/or advanced training.

 

Skill / Knowledge:

~ Proficiency with Windows based software programs – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook). 

~ Strong written and oral communication skills.

~ Strong project management skills.

~ Ability to work on multiple projects and set priorities.
