Purpose

~ To assist in financial analysis and planning. 

~ Lead reporting efforts for Total Delivery Cost financial impact.

~ To provide management with data to be utilized in making well informed decisions. 

 

Major Responsibilities

~ Manage TdC (Total Delivery Cost) from Analysis to Reporting of financial impact.

      ~ Material cost change analysis – Packaging, Logistics, Foreign Exchange, Raw material.

      ~ Manufacturing cost change analysis – labor and overhead.

      ~ Outbound logistics change analysis – Vehicle processing cost, truck, and rail.

~ Report TdC and analysis to VP level by vehicle model line.

~ Coordinate Logistics Service Provider’s performance (third party vendor).

~ Lead operation cost analysis on key affiliates to increase efficiency or flexibility.

~ Prepare, track monthly cost savings and analyze/present financial reports reflecting actual performance against budget monthly. 

~ Coordinate with factory; align reports regarding total vehicle cost of manufacturing.

~ Prepare presentation material for Executive Committee meeting.

~ Complete special projects on requests, as needed.

~ Frequent written and verbal communication with departments on variety of issues.

 

Education

~ Bachelor’s degree preferred.

 

Related Experience

~ Five to six years of experience, of which at least two years of directly related experience in finance preferred.

~ Cost accounting experience is recommended.

 

Skill/Knowledge

~ Knowledge of Accounting and Finance Principles.

~ Strong personal computer skills, i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Access.

~ Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to formally present financial information to management. 

~ Possess working knowledge of SAP & CPM software preferred.

~ Ability to prepare and interpret financial reports and financial plan.

 

Physical requirements

~ Normal office duties.

Compensation

$65,800.00 – $94,000.00 Annual
