Purpose

~ Support Hyundai Motor America (HMA) Sr. Facilities Mgr. and Facilities Mgr. with maintenance and construction projects at the HMA National Headquarters (NHQ), Regional office buildings and training centers.

~ Manage HMA National Headquarters EV charger program and maintenance.

~ Assist Hyundai Engineering team with Facilities requests for the NHQ. Monitor progress and approve completed work.

Major Responsibilities

~ Provide support to the Facilities team on maintenance and construction projects for the NHQ and the nationwide properties.

~ Experience in support of audio-visual (AV) and video conferencing systems.

~ Experience with door access control and CCTV camera systems (software and hardware).

~ Knowledgeable in furniture systems, office space planning/tracking, and staff move projects.

~ Manage the ChargePoint EV charger program at the NHQ. Assist employees with account setups, troubleshoot reported issues, schedule equipment repairs, and provide data usage information to third-party reporting vendor.

~ Submit support ticket requests (for repairs and maintenance) for the Hyundai Engineering team. Monitor the progress and completion of the work requests.

~ Supervise the parking permit program at the NHQ, which includes issuing permits for new employees, maintaining accurate records, and collecting permits when employees leave the company.

~ Monitor janitorial and coffee supply inventories at the NHQ. Order additional supplies when inventory is low.

~ Work with HMA HR department and the Hyundai Engineering team to install requested stand-up desk units for employee offices and workstations.

Major Responsibilities (continued)

~ Monitor AV, video conferencing and access control systems at the NHQ to confirm equipment is working properly; troubleshoot and contact vendor for repairs.

~ Support HR Department space planning at the NHQ.

~ Fulfill desk and office key requests by HMA employees. Keep accurate records of key requests.

~ Coordinate meetings and assist in planning of special events.

~ Must be flexible to take on other tasks outside this job description, as required by Management.

~ Local travel in southern California (typically Los Angeles County) required, no more than 5%.

~ Once a year, or every other year, travel to another state might be required.

Authority

~ Work alongside Hyundai Engineering team at NHQ to confirm all work is completed and support ticket requests closed; monitor the progress and quality of the work.

~ Review and make recommendations for outside suppliers/contractors, purchase requests, budgets, and invoices.

~ Approve invoices for payment.

Education

~ Must be a high school graduate
~ Bachelor’s degree preferred

Related Experience

~ Three to five years’ experience directly relating to duties and responsibilities specified.

Skills/Knowledge

~ Strong analytical skills.

~ Excellent written and oral communication skills.

~ Works well independently and in a group setting.

~ High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point).
