What You Will Be Doing

ChargePoint is seeking an experienced and process-oriented Product Manager to join our Products and Platforms Product Management team.  The Technical Product Manager role is a hands-on role which will include work on both existing products and new products.  

The role of this individual includes:

+Supporting shipping products within the EU/UK region, including prioritization of field issues, field upgrades, feature requests, and running changes.

+Intake, disposition and prioritization of Product feature requests. Gather Product Requirements for new features and new products and distill them from market to market. Products include AC Charging, DC Charging, Telematics Solutions and Energy Management Solutions.

+Work with Solutions Engineering to document answers to technical questions and support the evolution of knowledge base sharing. 

+Support Product Product Management related Product Life Cycle Activities including End Of Life / End of Support programs, Early Bid enablement, Sales Training, Beta Release Plans, and GA of products within the EU/UK region.

+Support Operations in planning product transitions.

+Work with Operations and Maintenance on better ways to Install our products.

+Support Product Launches in EU/UK as required

+Support Sustaining Product activities in EU/UK

+Monitor product health in EU/UK markets and make recommendations to improve product health.

+Support ChargePoint Energy Management initiatives


What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

+Eight or more years of hands-on Product Management experience (or equivalent) on hardware products.

+Experience working with Product Managers, Engineering, Operations, Sales, Sales Operations and Sales Engineering

+Crystal clear written and verbal communications skills.

+Strong self-starting initiative with a sense of urgency.

+Passionate about ChargePoint and our mission.

+Bachelor of Science (B.S.)  degree.  Electrical Engineering degree is strongly preferred.

+Experience with Product Regulatory Compliance (e.g. CE) is preferred

+Experience with Telematics is preferred

+Experience in EV charging or similar fields (e.g. Solar products, inverters, etc.) is preferred

+Experience in installation of electrical equipment and local electrical codes is preferred
