Senior Test Development Manager
What You Will Be Doing
ChargePoint is looking for an outstanding engineer interested in applying creativity and a broad skill- set toward building cutting-edge software for a next generation factory management and test system. You will work independently on design, implementation, and testing of new systems in a rapidly evolving factory test system.
What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
Lead and contribute to software architecture, development of applications, and integration with enterprise systems
Define factory software architecture strategy that aligns operational requirements and product roadmap
Collaborate cross-functionally to create infrastructure for monitoring and managing hardware validation stations worldwide
Provide technical leadership, participate in design and code reviews, and mentor other members of a locally based team
4+ years of experience in software development
Proficiency in an Object Oriented programming language, such as Python (preferred) or C++
Comfortable working in a linux based environment for development and application deployment
Experience with hardware & communication APIs in Linux systems (eg. udev, serial, can, ethernet)
Demonstrated ability and willingness to make critical system-level design decisions and drive projects from start to finish with minimal supervision
BS/MS in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Experience building automated test cases for verifying embedded devices
