What You Will Be Doing

In this critical sales role, you will have a successful track record and relevant experience selling hardware/software to a variety of Enterprise customers. If you have experience selling EV Charging stations and existing relationships in the industry that would be a major benefit. Of course, you must have experience identifying sales opportunities and working opportunities to closure. Additionally, you are working with channel partners and developing relationships with prospects and stakeholders is required. You must be able to thrive in a fast paced sales environment, be creative, independent, focused and an excellent problem solver.

What You Will Be Doing at ChargePoint

  • Manage distribution and resale channel partnerships within Italy
  • Collaborate with Chargepoint sales and marketing leadership to develop strategic and tactical plans to increase sales in defined territory
  • Recruit, onboard and support channel partners in defined territory
  • Build relationships with key partners in your region
  • Manage & develop executive level relationships with customers and partners
  • Create growth-oriented sales plans for new and existing channel partners
  • Educate partners and their customers on EV market and charging solutions
  • Assist in education, outreach, and marketing programs
  • Provide ongoing reporting & transparency
  • Drive and report pipeline & revenue on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis
  • Ability to travel as much as 30% of the time
  • Develop a strong technical baseline through training and development milestones

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

  • 5+ Years’ experience in channel management, distribution or channel sales. Experience in e-mobility and cloud services a plus.
  • Proven track record developing strategic partnerships and alliances on an enterprise level with channel partners
  • Disciplined to follow defined processes, yet creative to recommend/build new, scalable approaches
  • Ability to combine and balance partner management, sales, business development and alliance management skills
  • Autonomous, team-player, hard-worker, self-motivated, multi-tasking and influential
  • Ability to develop relationships and engage at all levels within partners (Sales to C-suite)
  • Territory (home) based and extensive travel required
  • You need to be an intense energetic self-starter and able to work hard, independently
  • Fluent in Italian, ability to communicate in English
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required


Within reasonable commuting distance of Milan preferred, but other locations negotiable
